Cookie policy
Last updated:
In short: the current configuration of this site uses no first-party tracking or advertising cookies. The analytics we do use work without cookies. Google Analytics is under consideration, but it is not active yet.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file or identifier that a website can store in, or read from, your browser in order to remember information about a visit, keep a session alive or measure use of the site. This policy also covers similar technologies where they serve an equivalent purpose.
2. Cookies this site currently uses
In its current configuration, jcrinvestment.com uses no first-party cookies for tracking, advertising, personalisation or profiling. Nor does it use cookies to register an account or a subscription.
Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights provide aggregate measurement of visits and performance without using cookies or identifiers stored in your browser: the visitor is assigned a value derived from the request itself, which is discarded after twenty-four hours and cannot be used to recognise you across sessions or across different sites. Vercel Inc. also provides the hosting, distribution and security services. Any technical measures strictly necessary to deliver or protect the service would be used for that purpose alone.
3. Google Analytics is not active yet
Adding Google Analytics is under consideration, but it is not installed as of the date of this policy. If it is enabled, this page will be updated with its purposes, providers, retention periods and specific cookies, and its cookies or identifiers will not be loaded until the appropriate consent mechanism is in place.
4. Third-party services
The site contains links to Substack, social networks, YouTube and other sources. When you click them you leave jcrinvestment.com, and the third party may use its own cookies, identifiers or similar technologies in accordance with its policies. The owner does not control those practices.
5. How to manage cookies
You can block, delete or configure cookies from your browser’s privacy settings. If Google Analytics or any other non-exempt technology is enabled in future, the necessary information and consent mechanism will also be provided.
