2. Purpose of the site

jcrinvestment.com is a site for information and education about investing, financial markets, analysis, charts and The Decision. It also publishes a portfolio of the owner’s own money with its real figures — starting capital, current value and return to date — together with every move, its date and the reasoning behind it. Its contents are published for educational and informational purposes.

The site links to third-party services and platforms, among them Substack, social networks, YouTube and information sources. Subscriptions to The Decision, free and paid alike, are taken and held by Substack: the site neither receives nor stores the user’s email address, and no payment passes through it.

3. Nature of the financial content

The content of this site is strictly educational and informational. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal or tax advice, nor a personalised recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Neither does it offer buy signals, promises of returns or guarantees of any outcome.

The figures of the published portfolio describe what has already happened to the owner’s own money. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Nothing in that record is a forecast, an offer to manage anyone else’s money or a suggestion that the same result can be repeated.

Investing carries a risk of loss. Each person must assess their own situation and take their decisions responsibly, and may consult an authorised professional whenever they consider it necessary.

4. Intellectual property and trade mark

Unless stated otherwise, the research, text, photographs, design, code, logo and other original elements of the site belong to its owner. Their reproduction, distribution, transformation or exploitation is not authorised beyond the limits allowed by applicable law or by express permission.

The charts built entirely from the author’s own work are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. That licence allows those pieces to be shared and reused provided its attribution terms are respected, the licence is linked and any modification is indicated.

Charts that contain a third-party element, such as a company logo inside the image, are not released under that licence. They may be shared with the attribution that travels in the image, and each third party keeps its own rights over its own element. The chart licence grants no rights over third-party elements or over the trade mark.

The JCRInvestment trade mark and logo are protected as a registered trade mark. Their unauthorised use, their removal, or any use suggesting authorisation, sponsorship or endorsement may give rise to penalties and to whatever actions are appropriate under the law.

Trade marks, images, data and content belonging to third parties retain their own rights and remain subject to their respective terms of use.

External links are offered as a reference or to make it easier to reach third-party services, publications and sources. The owner does not control their content, availability, terms of use or privacy policies.
