Some buy and others sell. Never this far apart.
While the strong hands sell, retail is buying hand over fist. On 11 August the gap between the two reached its widest in years, and in the two weeks since it has come back inside what is normal.
It is not a sign of an imminent fall, but it is a sign to be careful.
The decision
When the strong hands sell and retail buys, it is better to be cautious.
Faced with a possible correction, I choose patience. If the opportunity comes, I will choose decisive action.
